GÜMLIGEN, ZWITSERLAND – De omzet van de Europese dentale markt is in 2011 met 1,2% gegroeid. Dit blijkt uit een enquête van ADDE, De Europese dentale handelsvereniging, in samenwerking met FIDE, de Federatie van de Europese dentale industrie. Het onderzoek werd uitgevoerd in 14 landen en beslaat de periode 2007-2011.
De omzet van apparatuur is in die periode met 2,2% gedaald, terwijl de omzet van overige artikelen met 0,9% steeg. Het aantal werkzame tandartsen groeide licht met 0,8% en het aantal mondhygiënisten met 1,1%. Het aantal tandheelkundige laboratoria daalde met 1,1% en het aantal tandtechnici met 0,9%. (bron: ADDE)
